Ratings, Madam.

This page has been made redundant. For a current explanation of ratings, click HERE. For explanation of sub-ratings, click HERE.

Here at the ESF, I'm all about freedom of speech. I like to curse somewhat in my posts and say words that would shock a Bible Literalist into a fiery sermon on how I'm going to hell because of my language use.

And because I want people to read what they think they themselves can handle, I've established a ratings system, just so you know what's in a post (when applicable.)

So here are the ratings, explained thoroughly.

Unrated: For blog entries I consider that aren't eligible for ratings (ie photographic entries or personal stories).

Everyone: A blog entry that all will find unoffensive and without any language.

For 14 and Above: These entries are probably the norm and will contain some offensive material (ie race jokes, sexual orientation jokes, etc) and some language (ie d**k, piss, damn, goddamn, bitch, and oral).

For 16 and above: These entries are a standard here on the blog and will often contain offensive material and language (ie fu**, co*k, motherf*****, and sh*t).

For 18 and above: These entries are laden with offensive material and language. Reader Discretion Advised.

Adult: These entries, if any, may contain material considered offensive or obscene and can be viewed by those above 18 (or 21 in some jurisdictions). These might contain pornographic material and/or language-laden entries.
