Assholes Don't Invite!
Today was a watershed day for the upperclassmen at my school. Instead of going in at the usual 7:30 AM, we were allowed to come at 11:45 and "relax" in the school coliseum.
I took advantage of this and slept in until 9 AM, and then messed around for 2 1/2 hours. And during that time, seeing how many people had gone to eat breakfast that morning, I made a little panel about it.

It Takes Everything You Got
While I was in Dallas last week, I found a small card reader and in it a 16GB memory card. I've been hanging on it since and while looking at the massive music collection on it, I've found a few songs that I've liked, including "Hey Jude," "Take On Me," and an intro to an '80s television show.
And thinking about it now... that intro sounds appropriate at the moment. To be somewhere where everybody knows your name... and when your husband wants to 'be a girl.'*

The Golden Rule (for Friends)
Monday afternoon, while limping to meet my ride after school, I ran into a good friend of mine, who I politely-call "Jewfro" outside near the bus lane. We began to talk and I immediately saw Mr. Rodriguez (the leg guy) walking across the lane, so I asked Jewfro to turn around and yell out his name*.
"[RODRIGUEZ]!" he yelled.

The (Black-and-White) World According to Eddie
I was away for the better half of last week, and I'll blog about that later this week. I feel like talking about this latest endeavor.
Back in January, during a watershed week, I colorized a B&W portrait of this women sitting on a leather sofa. After some advice on colors and a bit of detailing, I came out with a pretty good end product, looking very realistic. And then I tried it again, and failed when discovering how shading and exposure really affect the way a color looks on a certain part of the photograph.
