As the summer months roll around, people take the time to relax. Most take vacations, some travel around, and others just hang around. Due to the economic conditions of the day, my family and I hang around. And I take great advantage of it by surfing the internet, cyber-stalking people, and watching episodes of Monk. But one thing that I do everyday is sleep.

In Japan...
This post is rated 18+ with S for scenes of softcore pornography
Another video, via VBS.tv, talks about a niche in the Japanese market: senior porn. Porn marketed for those above the age of 65. And it's growing. Enjoy... and... seriously... the old guy gets naked. How 'bout them apples?

Going Under the Knife II
This post is rated 16+ with MT and O for graphic photographs
that show the dissection of an animal and that material might
be found offensive to some.
Anatomy is a science of structure. A science of the how the bodies of animals and humans are structured how they function. As humans, we learn by doing, and this deed is something necessary to be done in order to know the structures of animals-- and later, ourselves. It advances not only our understanding when our pets or animals become sick, but it helps us to learn how to operate on them-- and again later-- on ourselves.
In this post, we will see the dissection of an adult cat. In this, as the last post, I asked the question whether the dissection-- let alone the photographing-- was ethical. Some gave me a "yes," others gave me a "no." I particularly believe that it is ethical in photographing the dissection. To dissect the animal is another case to be determined later, although, as pointed out in this PETA article, there are better ways to learn without killing first.
And in case you are wondering, the teacher did give an alternative assignment for those who did not feel they were able (or capable) to dissect a cat.

Dear Diary: "Fantasy"
Rated 14+ with MC-S for sexual situations

About two years ago, my summer was quite an exciting one. I had bought a new computer just months before, so I could finally enjoy what the internet had to offer instead of waiting for the computer to come out of a hang. At the time, I was better friends (not sure if it's any worse now) with The Archenemy's spouse, and after experimenting with a feature on our computers, we started writing a little diary.
This entry was co-authored by us both, and although I somewhat tried to get her approval, nothing came of it, so I'm going ahead with publication. Here is "Fantasy."
Note that the entry has been proof-read for grammatical and spelling errors.

It's Been A Year
May 2nd was horrendously cold day. The night before, cold air mass moved through, and that brought Seattle-like weather: cold, damp, with just a speck of alternative music in the mix. That night, while at the house of a neighbor setting up their computer, his wife came into the living room to tell us that a news bulletin just reported that Osama Bin Laden has been shot and killed. We rushed over to a television set and watched President Obama speak to the nation about the fulfillment of a long search after many years.

I always joke about my school's pregnancy rate. Last year (and at the beginning of this last one), I noticed a few girls walking around with these large bellies protruding from their small frames. Seriously. These girls, who aren't any taller than 5'2 and weigh no more than 115 lbs. are having babies and their bodies can barely handle it. But I digress...
In March, we began to learn about child abuse. And then development. And then babies. That section began with the birth process (poor Janice!) and then taking care of the baby. Then came buying the items necessary. We we're given a list and we needed to find out the prices for the items. I didn't finish my list, but 3/4 of the way down, my total was $1435. As I told my development teacher, "This is good birth control for everyone."

READER DISCRETION ADVISED
Last week, as part in our journey to become doctors, we began a three-day dissection of a fetal pig. Fetal pigs are product produced by the slaughterhouses when they kill pregnant sows (female pigs), and their either sold to schools (for medical study) or discarded. Fetal pigs are used in dissections because of their similarities to humans, being a mammal, and for the fact that they are so well developed at the time of death.
Now, you might say that this cruel, but in order to learn more about ourselves, something has to give. As someone put, "Would you want a doctor that hasn't practiced first?" I say "no." It's in this way, although disturbing to some, that we learn not only about our bodies, but how it's able to function as an organic being.
Due to the terms of Google's Picasa service, I can only upload a the least explicit photographs.
Once again, what follows are some photographs that might disturb or disgust some readers.
