Nice legs (Mr. Rodriguez), Short Shorts, and Pancakes

For about the last three weeks, my choir director had been advertising a volunteering opportunity for us choir kids where we would help out at a charity fun run held at a lake near where I live. In our choir class (one of seven), about 1/2 of the kids agreed to go, and today was go time.

Interesting Lunch Convo. (What I Learned Today... Three)

I was standing in line this afternoon for a chicken sandwich with my friend Elizabeth and behind me stood a few juniors who happen to be talking about same-sex couples. A girl, wearing glasses, said to her two male friends, "I wish there were more openly gay couples."

As she said that, I thought, "Yeah, so they can be harassed and be called 'fags' in the halls." I mean, we do live in Texas, probably the most conservative state in the Union. Anyway...

"5th Period, Mr. Rodriguez!" (What I Learned Today... Three Two)

After lunch (and before sixth), I was walking to a bathroom when I passed one of the AP classes (where the top 45 students happen to be in) and as I walked by, I saw a brown head.* I kept going, thinking nothing of it, but I looked at my watch (it read 12:54), so I figured, "I'll go back and see where it leads."

"Oh Doctor!"

Before I begin this entry, I'd like to say that although the (Almost) live blogging didn't work,
it would have been a great thing. Next time, sir, next time.

ANYWAY...

Panoramic Memories

Last Thursday, as is the custom with every graduating class since the 80s, we took a panoramic photograph outside the school's "stadium," forever engraving ourselves in a chemical reaction of paper and light-sensitive plates.

For Mr. Rodriguez...

I was in the shower this afternoon and while I was shampooing, I heard Katy Perry's "Hot 'n' Cold" come on. Instantly, Mr. Rodriguez came to mind and reminded me when I heard him sing "Hot 'n' Cold" back in January 2009. So now, Mr. Rodriguez, I hope you read this.

XOXO,
Eddie.

Let's hangout and sing Katy Perry karaoke, Mr. Rodriguez. Bring the girlfriend along too... so we can fight to the death for you.*

Chapstick (Shit My Cock Says - Pt. 3)

Welcome to the third edition of Shit My Cock Says. Now it's nearing September and it's getting "cooler" here in Texas, so let's see what my junk has to say about all this shiz.

Rated "14+" and "L" for strong language.

Life in Eddie's World

Life is an irony within itself sometimes. It's like you hate someone, but the same time, you just want to talk to them. Oh, if only Oscar Wilde* was alive to write these feelings down in a homoerotic-toned poem.**

Oh Mr. Archenemy... I saw you Friday... you on ground level; me on the second floor. That glance we shared my dear sir... was the same as tipping our hats before the duel begins, before the bells toll and the clock strikes high noon.

So... prepare... and draw your pistol.... NOW!

Eddie

* People say Oscar Wilde (or any Oscar for that matter) was a bit on the homosexual side. Right? To Wikipedia!

**
I think he also wrote many a poem with homoerotic overtones. Or was that Walt Whitman? To Wikipedia once more!

*** I say that because I haven't slept since 7 PM, Friday.
Sleep deprivation really takes a toll on the human mind and body.
And I think 14 posts in one week is way too much. But as I've said before, he's like a cute button... with nipples to boot! Man, white people are so damn cute. I should probably take a nap.
